I sort of have a plan to camp out under the Chief and take pictures of it in the moonlight. I don't think the moon actually shines on it till 3am though so I'm not sure if I'll be able to or not.

Dooda, what is The Chief you mention? I've not heard of it.

Well i have a ride day at the motorbike track tomorrow so i will be out there most of the day and then a friends daughter getting hitched 2nd time round so no majors with this but i am going to do a few pics for them in the late afternoon. Sunday the rally club has a motorkhana so might drop in for a look at that. Other than that listening to Lisa bitching about me not being home, i am sure some you get the same treatment.LOL
Cheers

Here's a couple of images of the chief. It is in Squamish British Columbia, about a 40 minute drive from Vancouver. Unfortunately the moon rises behind it and must come across the sky and then you have to take the picture quickly before it disappears behind some more mountains on the other side. For more pictures of the area follow my link below, it should take you to my photostream.

Dooda, sigh....you want to swap places? :)

Lake Jindabyne is where I want to go for a photo shoot but it's about a 6-8hr drive (if somebody from Melbourne has got exact travel times that'd be great). Need to study surrounding areas and determine where else I can go as to make it worth while.

Dooda,

envy, envy, envy!!!! What a place to have so close.

Sunday plan - maybe go into Sydney city earlyish and just wander around the Rocks and harbour for a while. I've got the photo bug again (it comes and goes, but since discovering this site last weekend it's really back) and I need some time behind the viewfinder to get back in practice.
