Hey guys, got room for one more?!?! I've been so busy I thought the GP was still two weeks away until I saw them on the news tonight. WILL SOMEBODY TELL ME WHO STOLE FEBRUARY???

Should I bring the camera? I'd really love sombody to tell me what the round button inside the on-off switch does :D

I look forward to meeting you all.

By the way, how do we recognise each other? Maybe Greg could bring his cat and hold it up in front of his face all night?

I'll ask Dad... or you could ask Greg... I can't imagine that a booking for as many as we have where a restaurant wouldn't gladly oblige for sticking another seat in there.

And I'm sure someone will be wearing a D70 shirt or carrying a D70 or possibly holding a sword of some sort.

I have booked for 16, and we had 14 "definites". I can't imagine it would be any kind of problem at a pizza joint anyway.

The booking is in Gary's name, so just ask for the Stark party :)

Use our banner as a spot pointer.

Gary and Leigh bring along the D70Users.com banner, hang it somewhere out/ inside for other Mel. members can spot it easy.

Not too sure how that would go down with the Toto's people....

Interesting thought however.

That was my thinking. I doubt we'll bring it only because it's likely to make staff or management at Toto's uncomfortable.

I'll probably be in my BMW cap... so look for the one non-Ferrari cap in the restaurant... hell, on Lygon St!

Ya'll obviously haven't seen the amount of "personal space" you get at the stands at the Grand Prix.

I swear, people who pay for general admission, while they may not get a better view of the race, they get more space to work with.

If the winners are Melb/VIC based, you could perhaps bring along their prizes to present to them in real time. :)

I noticed you have

"2 Dean"

Does that signify two Deans or Deano + 1 and I've been forgotten?

So I have a question...

D70 meeting at a pizza place... what kind of clothing are we looking at? Ordinarily I'd say good denims and a collared shirt.. but I dunno.. is this a fancy pizza place or what?

See sig for explanation as to why i'm asking.

Glen,

I thought that a suit was what you got from someone else's lawyers.

Dress code for the night is F1 or D70 regalia.

Wear your camera with pride!

Guess what I had a play with this afternoon? :)

Didn't get to the circuit today, so, no.

We did go to the Motor Show today, and we did see people partaking in what has to be the most mindless job on earth.

Many of the manufacturers have rent-a-babes on their stands. Alfa Romeo and Subaru are amongst the greatest offenders here, but Mitsubishi took this to a whole new low here, with two blonde bimboettes, each sitting in a car on a rotating pedestal, just ... sitting there, going round and round and round ...

The things some people do to earn a quid!
