Service/Maintenance work of old Rangefinder

Postby whoalse on Tue Feb 19, 2008 10:51 pm

Hi guys,

I need to service an old Ricoh 500GX rangefinder which hasn't been used for donkey years. It's been given to me by my parents since they are no longer using it.

I suspect it's probably need a thorough service with the humidity back in my hometown.

So, any place that I can go to to get this reliably serviced / cleaned / parts replaced (without being conned)?

Thanks

Alan, giva a call to John at Shutterbox in Camberwell. He is well known to couple of members and I find him honest and very reliable. He is in Toorak Road, and some know the area as Hartwell.
