Based on advice from yesterday, my wife asked me to write down a list of all the things I would like to have and what I need... lenses, tripods, bags etc and approx cost.... Cant wait for Xmas... yay!

Be sure you write in a clause to let you tweak the list over time (even if it's "supervised tweaking" ;)). It's not unreasonable to develop the list over time as you learn things. And believe it or not, getting it all at once can be a problem. Getting things on your list gradually can be good, as you learn from experience and often tweak the list as a result.

By the way, the only gear I let makario play with was a 580EX flash (I waved his flash around as a slave). I just wanted to be clear on that. :lol:

I cannot buy all in one go...too expensive and I would miss the lusting !!!. hehehehe.
