Photography Courses in Adelaide?

Postby wojtek on Sun Nov 21, 2004 6:25 pm

Hi all, having just moved from a Sony F707 to the D70 I have realised I have massive gaps in my understanding of photography, needless to say its been a steep learning curve. I've done a few online tutorials and a lot of reading then a mate suggested i do a photog course. Ideally it would be after hours and nothing too advanced. Looked at the WEA site but all they offer is B&W Film photography.

Does anyone know of what else may be available?

PM fozzie or beetleboy or digitor, I've seen few new members from Adelaide, perhaps Adelaide Chapter will have a meet soon.

Photg Courses

Good suggestion birddog!

http://www.theccp.com/

The above is for the centre for creative photography, they're having an open day on January 22nd 2005 (unfortunately I'm gonna be in Africa at the time!). I haven't heard much about these people but by the looks of their site they're pretty professional..Not sure if they'll offer the type of course you want but it's worth checking out.

This is the Australian Institute of Professional Photography, they may also be able to point you in the right direction.

Do a search in the "Course Search" box in the top right for "photo" and a few courses will pop up..check them out too!

Hope this helps!
