Do you want a clear shot or coming over a hill?

If over a hill, pretty well anywhere, just point towards mt Lofty.

If you want it clear in front of you (no hills) head up to the Mt Lofty/Piccadilly/ McLaren Vale ranges area so you can see over the valley.
On a really clear night/morning, the top of accomodation Hill at Truro is spectacular.
Side of Highway one out near Virginia thru to Port Wakefield is also good.
Other side of the Gulf is spectacular as water between you & the sunrise.

That ought to keep you busy..
