Any SA people about?

Postby Marvin on Sun Sep 05, 2004 11:05 pm

Hi!
Is anyone here from Sth Aust? I am not from Adelaide, but am curious to see how many SA owners we have and have a chat about where to buy, etc.

Well one at least!
Not too many of us over here yet.. LOL :)
I too would be interested to know where SA locals buy their stuff from that does NOT require going to Adelaide CBD. Travelling to towns is somewhat inconvenient..
Cheers,
Tim

Hi Hillsrain!
I remember your posts from dpreview. You have probably been getting a lot of rain today!!! I loved some of your landscape shots.

Cheers Mate! :D
Not as much rain as I would like. It has mostly gone north where falls over 40mm are happening. A piddly 14mm here. The weather patterns have shifted the past 6 years or so and our rain intensity is dropping for some reason!

I love landscape work. But then 99% of my life is spent outdoors in some pretty scenic country. Have been spoiled for choice I reckon!

Thanx again,
Tim

Technically I live in Bristol (South West England) at the moment, but I'm heading home to Adelaide in 5 weeks..

Counting down the rainy/chilly days!

Beetleboy,

Welcome.

I particularly like how, in your avatar, the fries defy gravity. Cool. :)

It's actually Italian ...

Like me, old ....

That they used to make stoves (and aeroplane and boat engines) is probably not that well known :)
