Anzac Day 2011

Postby biggerry on Sun Apr 24, 2011 9:16 pm

Super late notice but nonetheless, I am gonna head into town (Sydeny CDB) to watch the parades etc.. if anyone else is around drop me a pm. Last year was a good day and great to see all the oldies and young ones out there remembering what these guys did all those years ago.

Pretty sure it was MattK that Auntie spotted on the teev. Who else would know to use a bit of fill?

Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935.

I can at least say I was on an Anzac Parade today - even if it was the short stretch from Bunnerong Road to La Perouse.

Were you diving in this fine weather Andrew? I guess only the underwater visibility matters rather than what happens above the water.... :chook:

Indeed I was. Even though the water was rougher than what the Bureau forecasted, the visibility was surprisingly good. It was a very pleasant dive, even if I didn't find any of the pipehorses I was seeking.
